- Prep. Preheat the oven and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Stir dry ingredients. These would be almond flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and sea salt.
- Add wet ingredients. Add the eggs, melted coconut oil, and warm water.
TIP: Mix well here to create air bubbles! This will help your bread rise.
- Bake. Transfer the batter to the baking pan, round out the top, and bake until the top is crusty and an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
TIP: It will pass the toothpick test before its completely done, so make sure the top is very crusty, too.
Let your keto almond bread cool completely before slicing it, which will allow it to set inside.

I used only 4 eggs in this recipe. And to prevent ANY eggy taste, I omitted 2 of the egg yolks, using only 2 egg yolks in the recipe. It works so well! My almond flour bread is fluffy and not spongy at all.

Tip 1. Sweetener options: I have used honey, but you can also use 2.5 tablespoon maple syrup. If you want to use sugar then replace honey with the same amount of sugar . When using sugar, then you will need some more liquid to shape the dough. So you can either use about 1.5 tablespoons of more water to the cookie dough.
Tip 2. Liquid options: Instead of plain water you can also use milk, ghee, butter, or coconut oil for forming dough.
Tip 3. Make sure to use white fine almond flour for this recipe.
Tip 4. Weighing the almond flour gives the best result, so make sure to measure the almond flour by spooning it lightly in a measuring cup.
Tip 5. Storage: Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
Tip 6. If you want crispier cookies, then make at least 12 cookies with this dough and then press them into a 1 cm thickness.

First thing you need to do is preheat your oven. Dont skip this part because it will make a difference in the finished product. Next, line an 8×4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper and set it aside. The parchment paper will make it so easy to remove your bread from the pan later on so if you have it, make sure to put it. Otherwise, spray your loaf pan with some non-stick cooking spray. - Do not use a loaf pan bigger than 8 x 4-inches, or else your bread will lack the rise and dome shape.
- Ensure there are 1-2 inches of parchment paper overhanging the sides of the loaf pan. This makes removing the bread from the pan so much easier.
- Oven makes and models differ. Mine took 40 minutes to make, but Id recommend checking up at the 35 minutes mark. Dont stress if it takes up to 45 minutes to bake.

Yes! I don’t eat bread every day. That’s why I like to pre-slice my bread loaves and store them in the freezer. This way it lasts for 3-6 months.
Lay out the slices next to each other on a sheet of parchment paper so they don’t stick together while they freeze. Then, store them in a freezer bag.
To defrost, simply let the bread come to room temperature. Or pop a slice in the toaster or microwave straight from frozen!
Tip: Make sure you have an eye on your almond flour bread when it’s in the toaster. It browns quicker than wheat bread.

A bread with almond flour and yeast wont rise as much as wheat bread. In fact, the reason why bread rises in contact with yeast is the activation of gluten in the flour.

- Beat liquid ingredients fast using an electric beater to add air to the bread dough.
