Crazy Bread Serving Tips:

These breadsticks are not only a great side dish with pizza but are a fantastic addition to any meal! I like them with pasta, soup, stir-fry, or just as a snack by themselves.

If you want to add some more flavor to your Crazy Bread, serve them with your favorite marinara or pizza sauce!

Ive added an easy marinara dipping sauce a Little Caesars Crazy Sauce copycat recipe to the recipe in case you want to try it out too. I ended up with leftover sauce, so I just portioned it out and stashed it in the freezer for next time!

Another great dipping sauce for the breadsticks would be this homemade Alfredo sauce. Yum!

The Extra Cheesy Bread Will Be Back For A Short Time

Little Caesars’ beloved Stuffed Crazy Bread is back on the national menu for a short time. The menu item was first introduced in 2020, and since then, it has left the menu at most locations. Now, no matter where you live, you’ll be able to order this delicious side with any order or as its very own treat.

For $3.49, you can get three of the stuffed breadsticks from participating Little Caesars. If you want to pick up the meal quickly, they will be available for Hot-N-Ready pickup between 4 and 8 pm.

Little Caesars is offering a Stuffed Crazy Bread Meal Deal for customers who place orders online for those planning to add the breadsticks to a larger order. The deal includes a one-topping Classic Pizza, one order of Stuffed Crazy Bread, and a two-liter bottle of soda for $10.49. Little Caesars Now Has Stuffed Crazy Bread

Crazy Bread has long been a staple of the menu at Little Caesars, with the melty, buttery, garlic bread serving as the perfect side to the pizzas the chain offers. Now, the Detroit-based pizza place is launching the next step in the evolution of the side dish by stuffing it to the brim with gooey mozzarella cheese. The company announced the new item in a statement on Monday, confirming it’d be available for a limited time at participating locations in the United States.

“Since its debut in 1982, Crazy Bread’s popularity has grown to reach a nearly iconic status,” Little Caesars marketing boss Jeff Klein said in a statement. “That’s why we think Crazy Bread is the perfect platform to be stuffed with other craveable ingredients for the ultimate complement to our pizza.”

The company makes sure to point out the fact that so much Crazy Bread is purchased each year, you circle the planet three times if you lined up each piece back to back. “Crazy Bread is prepared using dough made from scratch in-store each day to create the perfect texture and flavor,” the chain says in its statement. “Sticks of freshly baked bread are topped with flavors of butter and garlic, then sprinkled with Parmesan cheese to create one of Little Caesars most popular menu items. And Little Caesars then went above and beyond by stuffing its original crazy bread recipe with gooey cheese. Stuffed crazy bread takes the legendary side item to new heights.”

When Did Little Caesars Start Serving Crazy Bread

The first Little Caesars location, called Little Caesars Pizza Treat, opened up in 1959. But there was no Crazy Bread just yet. The garlicky, doughy creation was added to the Little Caesars menu in 1982, and according to the chain, its “popularity has grown to reach a nearly iconic status” . So, it feels pretty safe to say that Crazy Bread is here to stay.

In June of 2020, the Crazy Bread family welcomed a delicious new member: Stuffed Crazy Bread. At the time, Little Caesars intended it to be a limited-time offering, but according to some employees on Reddit, certain Little Caesars franchise locations have decided to keep it as a permanent menu item. Youll want to check your local Little Caesars menu to see if theyre still offering the cheese-stuffed breadsticks, but you just might be in luck.

Crazy Bread Nutritional Information

If youre watching your carbs or sodium, Little Caesars probably is best saved for special occasions. With all of the cheese and pepperoni flying around their menu, the sodium count tends to be pretty high, and pizza dough is definitely heavy on carbs.

That being said, Crazy Bread isnt one of the worst items for your health on the Little Caesar menu. In fact, a nutritionist interviewed by Eat This, Not That! said that Crazy Bread, with or without a side of Crazy sauce, is one of the best items to order at Little Caesars. “Of all the signature favorites options, the Crazy Combo is the lowest in calories and is also low in sugar,” they said. One order of Crazy Bread with Crazy Sauce contains 840 calories, 22 grams of fat, 1,820 milligrams of sodium, 135 grams of carbs, 6 grams of fiber, 7 grams of sugar, and 26 grams of protein.

Why This Is The Recipe You Should Try For Homemade Crazy Bread

Little Caesars Stuffed Crazy Bread Review

Nothing tastes better than fresh, straight out of the oven Little Caesars garlic bread, but if you cant get to a Little Caesars restaurant, you can always try making this Crazy Bread recipe at home.

Baking these breadsticks may not be as easy as picking up an order, but the extra effort is well worth it when you can customize the flavor to get the perfect breadsticks for your palette.

Why Do They Call It Crazy Bread

This classic menu item first appeared on Little Casaers menu way back in 1982 as Crazy Crust, but later changed the name. In a 2009 article, the company claimed that it was the first pizza chain to sell a side bread item.

As for why Little Caesars decided to call it crazy in the first place? Well, the company tweeted in 2013 they named it after the guy who created it, Crazy Brett.

More legend than fact? Who knows, and when Crazy Bread tastes this good, who really cares?

Little Caesars Adds New Cheese

It goes without saying that anytime I order from Little Caesars pizza, a bag or three of their famous Crazy Bread is a must. Hot and greasy, I almost always grab an extra order of pure delight as fuel on long drives. Now, decades later, Little Ceasars is finally adding a cheesy twist to their famous bread sticks.

The new Cheese-Stuffed Crazy Bread is baked with melted mozzarella cheese inside and dusted with garlic and grated parmesan cheese. Each bag comes with three sticks and is served with a side of the chain’s marinara-like dip called Crazy Sauce.

Famed fast food reviewer Daym Drops got his hands on a bag and here’s what he had to say as a first look:

As you can see, while he appears to have enjoyed the sticks, his biggest criticism was that it needed a more garlic butter. He then goes on a rant explaining how if he ran his own Little Caesars his breadsticks would constantly be dunked in hot garlic butter, to which I gave him a standing ovation from my bedroom.

May want to take a beat this week and sneak over to our local Little Caesars. This looks too good not to try. Hopefully Mr. Drops just got a solitary dry batch. You can find the new variation of Crazy Bread at participating locations of Little Caesars now.

What Is Crazy Bread

Crazy Bread is the name of the breadsticks sold at Little Caesars pizza restaurants. Fans of Crazy Bread love the sides garlic-butter and Parmesan flavor.

If you have never had these freshly baked bread topped with the flavors of butter and garlic, then sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, you are missing out on one of the best side dishes to have come out of a pizza place.

These are served with their Crazy sauce, but you can eat these plain or with your favorite marinara. Whenever I have ordered pizza here, I have always ordered some of their crazy bread.

It was gone? They never left here in SW PA. One of my favorite things on the menu tbh. Sometimes I’ll grab an order as a meal on their own.

Yea I’ll stop by the Uniontown store this weekend to see if they have them. )

These are okay at best.

Had these for lunch. Note, you only get three. My thoughts : a little oversalted. Cheese was bland, you don’t get the flavor of browned cheese that you do in pizza. The bread was soggy from the cheese inside. It’s an idea that doesn’t translate well into a tasty product. I won’t order them again. Regular breadsticks dipped in cheese sauce is much better.

How To Make Crazy Bread

  • Proof the yeast in warm water. Add oil and more warm water.
  • Place flour and salt in a food processor and pulse to combine. You could use a dough hook if you are using a stand mixer.
  • With the processor running, add yeast, olive oil, and water through the top tube. Process until the dough forms and is smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough ball in a greased bowl. Cover the dough and let it rise until doubled.
  • On a floured surface, pat out the dough into a rectangle. Cut the dough in half then into strips, you may want to use a pizza cutter to make the slices even. Coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray and place the strips on it.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 18 minutes or until the breadsticks become golden.
  • Combine melted butter and garlic salt. Brush the garlic sauce over the breadsticks. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the breadsticks.

Everything’s better when it’s stuffed with hot, melted cheese.

Little Caesars thinks so, anyway, which is why it’s launching a new product: stuffed crazy bread. It’s similar to its popular soft bread sticks that are covered with garlic, butter and parmesan cheese, only with more melt-y cheese inside. The dough is made in-store each day from scratch.

Only available for a limited time, the stuffed crazy bread is sold as a three-piece with a side of crazy sauce at participating locations for $3.49 plus tax. Some stores are selling it via the Little Caesars app now, and there will be a wide launch June 8.

Since its debut in 1982, Crazy Breads popularity has grown to reach a nearly iconic status, senior vice president of global marketing Jeff Klein said in a press release. Thats why we think Crazy Bread is the perfect platform to be stuffed with other craveable ingredients for the ultimate complement to our pizza.

That’s not the only big announcement this week for the Detroit-based pizza chain. Starting Monday, customers can get a classic large pepperoni pizza for $3.99. This deal, which runs through June 8, is a thank you to customers who helped Little Caesars donate 220,000 pizzas to first responders and hospital workers through their “pie it forward” program.

Adding it to the company’s “one million pizza commitment,” that made for a total of 1.2 million pizzas donated to front line workers.

    How Is Crazy Bread Made

Some pizza places make their dough from scratch in-house every day. Others, like Pizza Hut, use frozen dough that’s delivered to each store. There are also chains, like Domino’s, that use fresh dough for some pizzas and frozen for others, like their thin crusts. But how does Little Caesar’s make its Crazy Bread dough?

As it turns out, Little Caesar’s actually makes their pizza dough fresh daily in each store. The main ingredients for the dough are flour, water, sugar, salt, yeast, and soybean oil . It’s the same dough that they use to make their Crazy Bread, which means both your pizza crust and your bread is made fresh each day. After the dough gets shaped and baked, the bread is doused in melted garlic butter , sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, and served with a side of Crazy Sauce, the chain’s signature marinara-style dipping sauce .

    What Is The Secret Ingredient

Little Caesars Stuffed Crazy Bread Challenge

Have you ever made homemade breadsticks before? They do taste amazing but they can be a ton of work.

You have to use yeast and mix the dough carefully in a bowl of a stand mixer with a dough hook. On top of that you have to mix the yeast with warm water to make the perfect yeast mixture.

Even though it tastes great, the process is just too complicated for me.

For this recipe, I use Pillsbury pizza crust and the entire recipe is quick and easy but still delicious.

How To Store Freeze And Reheat Little Caesar Garlic Bread

Crazy Bread is best fresh, but you can keep any leftovers in a paper bag on the counter overnight.

If you are going to make this Little Caesars Crazy Bread recipe, you might as well double up and keep some extra in the freezer for later. You can freeze the breadsticks by wrapping them individually in parchment paper and putting them in a larger container for up to three months.

If you plan to freeze the Crazy Bread from the start, its best to bake the breadsticks without the buttery coating and add it later when you reheat the bread.

    To reheat:

  • Let the Crazy Bread thaw in the fridge. Meanwhile, you can make a new butter, garlic, and cheese coating, if desired.
  • Put the thawed breadsticks on a parchment-lined baking tray and pop in a 350-degree oven until hot, about 8 to 10 minutes for cold Crazy Bread and 3 to 4 minutes for room temperature breadsticks. Turn the breadsticks over midway through the baking time.
  • Start With Your Dough:

In the photos, I used Pillsbury refrigerated canned pizza crust dough.

If you prefer not to use refrigerated pizza dough, no problem. You can always substitute your favorite pizza crust recipe or Rhodes bread dough works well too. Pretty much any dough that you would use for pizza crust will work in this recipe!

Once you have your dough, just cut it into strips with a pizza cutter, place the strips on a greased cookie sheet, and bake.

It’s downright rude to order pizza without another glorious carb-filled side to go with it. And while I’d typically opt for garlic bread, mozzarella sticks, maybe fried zucchini if I’m pretending to diet, Little Caesars is unleashing a cheese-stuffed crazy bread that might trump the pizza itself. That’s right, I said it.

Earlier this week, the purveyor of hot ‘n ready pizza took its fan-favorite crazy bread one step further by filling it with cheese. Little Caesars’ classic dough is now stuffed with warm cheese before it’s doused in garlic and grated parmesan. Though the bread’s presence on menus might be short-lived , we’re going to focus on the positives here. Like, how it tastes.

“Since its debut in 1982, Crazy Breads popularity has grown to reach a nearly iconic status,” senior vice president of global marketing Jeff Klein said in a statement Monday. “That’s why we think crazy bread is the perfect platform to be stuffed with other craveable ingredients for the ultimate complement to our pizza.”
